Automatic deletion of files

Hi!
Would it be possible to have automatic deletion of files? Like access rights I want to be able to set the maximum time a file is allowed to exist before it's automatically deleted on each folder. (Unlimited, x days, x months, x years, specific date)

Our FTP grows with incredible speed every day since we are working with huge video files. I don't want to monitor the system every day, an automatic function for deleting files would be just perfect for me!
