Pricing & Licensing for FileVista
FileVista is licensed according to the
total number of user accounts that can be created within an application instance
on a
single domain.
You can purchase a license that is closest to the number of required user accounts. There is no limit on the concurrent user logins.
The product is licensed to company (or individual) name and the license is non-transferable.

This license is for individual use of the application or for trying out the application without restrictions prior to purchasing a license.
If more users are required during trying out the application, the trial mode which allows upto 5 users for 30 days, can be activated. |

This is not a royalty-free license, ie. you can not distribute the source code or build a similar product (which is sold) upon the source code.
Source code is provided only for your own customizations which are to be deployed only to your own domain.
You can only deploy the binary results of your customizations to your clients only after you buy separate domain licences (one of the above licenses) for each.

What is the version update policy?
There is no charge for minor version updates (eg. from 1.1 to 1.9) that may be released within the current major version.
However we charge only half of the original price for a major version update (eg. from 1.x to 2.x) unless the release occurs within 6 months of the original purchase date.
